i am making homemade bread in a bread machine and i have a gluten free recipe but i need it dairy free as well. it calls for 2/3 cup dry milk. i heard mumblings about almond meal or dry soy milk. what would be best to conserve taste of bread. i plan on making a plain bread and a lemon poppy seed bread.

There is a product called “Better than Milk” and it is a powdered rice milk mix that would be a good substitute for dry milk. Rice milk is a little bit sweeter than soy, which might be perfect for the types of bread you want to make. It’s lactose and gluten free as well. I know they sell it in most whole food stores / health food stores but if you can’t find it they do sell it on Amazon. Good luck!
